Job summary

Regional School Unit 2 is seeking an IT professional to assist in planning, implementing, and maintaining information technology systems. You will make and execute decisions affecting assigned systems and train staff to support technology.

You will report updates and concerns to the Director of Technology and contribute to RSU 2’s educational mission. Qualifications include a BA or AS in Computer Science with 6 years of related experience, and the ability to obtain CHRC certification, a Maine

Qualifications

• BA or AS in Computer Science, 6 years of related experience, or a combination of both.
• CHRC Certification approval by the Maine Department of Education.
• Valid Maine Driver’s License.
• Ability to pass and maintain CJIS Vendor background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, implementing, and maintaining Information Technology systems.
• Make and execute decisions that affect systems assigned as primary responsibility.
• Update the Director of Technology regarding changes and concerns.
• Train personnel to support the technology software and hardware.

Education

BA or AS in Computer Science

Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) Certification approval by the Maine Department of Education

Valid Maine Driver's License
