Job summary

Charter Schools USA (CSUSA) is seeking an Area IT Support Specialist to maintain and support critical school systems across assigned regional schools. You will provide end-user support to administrators, teachers, parents and students, and work with the State IT team to keep systems available and secure.

Ideal candidates will have 2–5 years of IT support experience, relevant certifications, and a strong customer-service approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 2–5 years IT support experience.
• Experience resolving hardware and software issues in an enterprise environment.
• Prior experience in a school environment is preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Manage regionally assigned schools' IT support tickets and service requests.
• Provide end-user support for hardware, software, backups, and networking.
• Collaborate with State IT team and partners on planning and infrastructure.
• Provide regular updates to State IT Director/Manager on system status.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Document SOPs and best practices.
• Be a technology liaison for schools, clients and vendors.
• Stay current on developments and technical resources.
