Job summary

Hamlin Robinson School in Seattle is seeking an Information Technology Manager to lead the Information Systems team and ensure reliable, secure technology for students, faculty, and staff.

You will oversee IT operations, security, and strategic technology initiatives, manage a 12-month exempt department, and collaborate with the Director of Business and Operations to align tech with the school's mission.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years’ progressive experience in information systems management.
• Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and apply complex technical information.
• Experience training others and providing user-focused support.
• Strong customer service orientation and teamwork.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Comfortable working with staff, students, and families.
• Ethical standards and professional integrity.
• Experience with SQL Server, SIS implementations, LMS integrations, and cross-platform environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee IT operations and school technology infrastructure.
• Ensure security, privacy, and integrity of information systems.
• Develop and test backup and disaster recovery plans.
• Manage hardware/software lifecycle and acquisitions.
• Lead technology projects and strategic planning.
• Collaborate with MSP and vendors; monitor service delivery.
• Prepare and manage the technology budget.
• Align technology initiatives with school priorities.
