Job summary

TREWHELAS'S SCHOOL CHILE seeks an IT Manager to lead the development and execution of IT strategy, ensuring secure, reliable technology across the campus and administrative systems while aligning with school goals.

You will oversee networks, servers, devices, LMS/SIS, cybersecurity, disaster recovery, and budget management, while recruiting and coaching IT staff and managing vendor contracts for optimal operations. Strong English and school-IT experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
• Must be intermediate / advanced level English.
• 3+ years of IT administration or management experience.
• Strong knowledge of networking, Windows/Mac OS, Microsoft 365, and cloud-based systems.
• Experience supporting IT in a school environment with multi-device management.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a school setting with patience and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day IT operations including networks, servers, Wi‑Fi, classroom tech, and administrative systems.
• Provide timely, high-quality technical support to faculty, staff, and students.
• Manage device deployment and maintenance (laptops, tablets, projectors, displays, printers).
• Ensure LMS/SIS operations and data integrity, backups, and security.
• Maintain secure networks, firewalls, access controls, and incident response.
• Develop and implement long-term technology plans and budget management.
