Job summary

Flint Community Schools is seeking a Grant Coordinator to coordinate, plan, develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate all federal grants including Title I, Title II, Title III, and Title IV.

The Coordinator serves as the district's primary grant administrator by providing professional guidance, technical assistance, fiscal monitoring, compliance oversight, and recommendations to support successful implementation of grant-funded programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Accounting, Finance, Education, Grants Management, or related field required.
• Minimum five years of progressive grant administration experience with budgeting and reporting.
• Experience in public education or governmental grant administration preferred.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local grant regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning, development, submission, and evaluation of all federal grants.
• Monitor grant-funded programs and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Finance and departments on budgets and amendments.
• Prepare required grant reports and compliance documentation.
• Provide technical assistance and professional learning on grants.
• Maintain grant documentation and time/effort reporting.
