Qualifications

• PhD or EdD in Education or closely related field.
• Proven potential for undergraduate and online graduate teaching.
• Experience in teaching and curriculum development/instructional coaching.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to student success and inclusive pedagogy.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Texas Teacher Certification or equivalent (preferred).
• College-level teaching or teaching assistant experience (preferred).
• Familiarity with Canvas LMS and high‑impact teaching practices (preferred).
• Interest in program growth and student engagement activities (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and online graduate courses within the Professions of Education curriculum.
• Implement experiential learning strategies and applied assignments.
• Create engaging instructional materials aligned with learning outcomes.
• Contribute to program assessment and curriculum improvements.
• Utilize Canvas and instructional technology to support student learning.
• Mentor and advise students pursuing Education careers.
• Participate in summer faculty development and ongoing professional development.
