Job summary

University Prep in Denver seeks Teaching Fellows (Teachers in Training) to embody our mission and deliver high-quality instruction in small groups and whole-class settings, aligned to curricular expectations. Fellows participate in a rigorous preparation process and build a strong instructional practice.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, is in-person, and priors PRAXIS 5001 readiness is required. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.
• Be able to take and pass the PRAXIS 5001 by August 2026.
• Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Embody mission and values of University Prep.
• Deliver high-quality instruction in varied group sizes.
• Provide academic and behavioral interventions and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with staff and families and participate in professional development.
