Qualifications

• Doctoral degree from a regionally accredited institution aligned with the Department of Marriage and Family Sciences
• Experience teaching, mentoring diverse students
• Experience in graduate level coursework and clinical training
• Proficiency in technology for online teaching
• Curriculum development experience
• Experience in a technology-driven enterprise
• Professional identity as a couple/marriage and family therapist
• COAMFTE accreditation preferred
• AAMFT credentials desirable

Responsibilities

• Must teach courses within a programmatic core discipline as assigned
• Promote a graduate culture of scholarship, teaching, service, and practice
• Engage in teaching through the NU One-to-One apprenticeship model
• Participate in research and scholarship opportunities
• Engage in professional service to the field as appropriate
• Collaborate with Academic and Finance Advisors to support student engagement
• Ensure compliance with NU policies and privacy laws
• Participate in program and student assessment procedures
• Attend postdoctoral networking meetings
• Maintain contact with students via phone, video conferencing, and email
