HES Facilities Management is seeking an Assistant Director of Special Services-5012(Events) in St. Louis, MO to provide onsite leadership for Special Services operations, coordinating event setups and directing a team of 12+ associates at educational campuses.

The role emphasizes meeting client expectations, maintaining safety, and collaborating with campus partners; it requires strong communication, training, and supervision skills within a university environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience managing and supervising custodial services.
• Basic custodial knowledge and mechanical knowledge.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Computer literacy.
• Ability to delegate, direct, and follow up to ensure success in complex situations.

Responsibilities

• Organize, schedule, assign, and perform daily work routines.
• Proactively communicate schedule adjustments or delays to the admin assistant and/or clients.
• Plan and perform cleaning operations, office moves, event set‑ups and on‑site support; supervise projects.
• Act as an ambassador for our company values and philosophy.
• Provide leadership and communication to build a strong team of trained associates and foster campus relationships.
• Communicate effectively with customers and respond to client feedback.
• Inspect events and work being performed; ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Serve as point of contact for all Special Services employees.
• Weekly schedule will vary.
