Job summary

The Personal Care Products Council (PCPC) seeks a strategic, hands-on director of education and events to lead its educational programming, deliver vibrant live and virtual events, and grow sponsorship, exhibits, and other non-dues revenue for PCPC.

Reporting to the EVP of marketing, membership and events, the director will collaborate across departments and with senior leadership to align offerings with PCPC’s priorities, create meaningful member experiences, and drive revenue to support future

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive experience in association management, event management, or related field.
Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree or CMP/CAE is a plus.
Familiarity with personal care, cosmetics, or consumer products industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain a comprehensive 12-month educational plan including virtual, hybrid, and in-person programming.
Lead planning and execution for major events from site selection through post-event reporting.
Develop and manage event budgets, pricing strategies, and financial close-out reports.
Create tiered sponsorship packages and exhibition opportunities for signature events.
Establish standardized event processes, guidelines, and playbooks to improve consistency and growth.
Lead and develop staff, fostering a collaborative, accountable team culture.
