Personal Care Products Council is seeking a senior public affairs leader to direct policy communications, media relations, and external engagement. The EVP will shape the strategy, serve as the organization’s voice, and interact with policymakers, regulators, and industry stakeholders.

Qualificações

• 15+ years of progressively responsible experience in public affairs, policy communications, government relations, advocacy, or a related field.
• Experience with trade associations or membership organizations and building consensus among diverse member companies.
• Ability to translate complex scientific, regulatory, and policy issues into persuasive messages and advocacy strategies.
• Experience engaging with policymakers, regulators, media, industry organizations and other external stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Lead an integrated public affairs, advocacy, communications, and external engagement strategy.
• Develop trusted relationships with media, industry organizations, coalitions, and other stakeholders; act as a principal external voice for the organization.
• Translate complex issues into clear, persuasive messages that advance the industry’s interests.
• Develop strategies around federal and state legislative and regulatory priorities.
• Build alignment among member companies and engage volunteer leaders in advocacy efforts.
• Establish PCPC’s reputation as a credible, trusted voice with key audiences.
• Lead the Communications Steering Committee and align priorities with PCPC’s objectives.
• Manage the Public Affairs & Communications team and the department’s budget and resources.
