The incumbent will manage one direct report.

Educational Strategy

  • Identify emerging topics, regulatory developments, and scientific advances that offer opportunities for timely, high‑value programming.
  • Establish feedback and measurement tools to evaluate programming, track outcomes, and guide improvements.
  • Ensure educational offerings remain accessible, inclusive, and consistent with PCPC’s brand and mission.

  • Select and manage vendors for audiovisual services, production, livestreaming, transportation, and other event needs; obtain competitive bids and negotiate agreements.
  • Establish staff responsibilities, timelines, communications, and budget updates for each event.
  • Direct on‑site operations and resolve issues during live and hybrid events.
  • Collaborate with the president and CEO and executive assistant on in‑person board meetings.
  • Partner with IT to select and optimize registration platforms, virtual event tools, mobile apps, and survey technology.
  • Create engaging virtual and hybrid experiences that meet PCPC’s production and brand standards.
  • Evaluate emerging event technology, formats, and audience engagement practices.
Financial Management
  • Develop and manage event budgets, monitor performance against projections, and adjust plans as needed.

  • Prepare complete financial and operational close‑out reports for the EVP and CFO following each event.
Sponsorship, Exhibits & Revenue Growth
  • Develop tiered sponsorship packages and exhibition opportunities for PCPC’s signature events.
  • Identify new sponsorship categories, partnership models, and revenue opportunities to grow the live event business.
  • Cultivate and manage sponsor relationships across all three signature events, demonstrating return on investment and alignment with PCPC’s mission.
  • Create valuable sponsor experiences through programming, networking, and visibility opportunities.
  • Establish annual sponsorship and exhibit revenue targets, track pipeline activity, close rates, and renewals.
  • Partner with membership and marketing teams to strengthen sponsor engagement and PCPC’s broader member community.
Leadership & Strategic Operations
  • Manage and develop the manager of education while building a collaborative, accountable team culture.
  • Create standardized event processes, guidelines, and playbooks to improve consistency, reduce risk, and support growth.
  • Align education and event activities with PCPC’s strategic goals and business objectives.
  • Represent PCPC at external meetings and industry forums and serve as a spokesperson when requested.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
