Neshaminy Manor seeks an Education Director to organize and facilitate orientation and educational programs, coordinating health care human resources and Infection Control on-site in Pa. The role supports regulatory compliance and staff development across departments.

The ideal candidate has RN credentials, Nursing Education experience, and Infection Prevention certification, with leadership skills to guide training initiatives and partner with Administration and HR.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Education with nursing experience.
• At least one year of recent experience in a licensed nursing facility.
• Certified Nursing Home Infection Preventionist per CDC course requirements.

Responsibilities

• Organize and update orientation programs for new nursing staff.
• Assess learning needs of licensed nurses, CNAs, and facility staff.
• Develop training initiatives on best resident care practices.
• Coordinate annual in-service programs for all departments each year.
• Outline material for in-service sessions and evaluate effectiveness.
• Participate in interdepartmental meetings for training needs.
• Collaborate with ADONs on clinical initiatives and training.
• Maintain training records in County HRIS for compliance.
• Coordinate instructors, lecturers, demos, and AV resources.
• Prepare outlines and evaluation methods for each session.
• Coordinate computer-based training related to EHR initiatives.
• Support HR and Neshaminy Manor training and development functions.
• Communicate staffing levels, leaves, and probation progress with Administration and HR.
• Interview with Human Resource Specialist to identify qualified candidates.
• Collaborate with administration and HR on labor management, safety, and retention.
• Serve as secondary Infection Control Preventionist.
• Provide desk or cart coverage twice weekly.
• Act as Manager on Duty on a rotating on-site basis.
• Perform other duties as required.
