Job summary

Goody Clancy in Boston seeks a Project Manager to guide design teams through the full design and delivery process, ensuring clear communication, coordinated efforts, and high-quality results. You will work with internal leadership, design staff, and external partners, leading milestones, resources, and client relationships, with on-site involvement and research‑backed planning.

You will report to Principals and contribute to a collaborative, mission‑driven culture while advancing

Qualifications

• Professional degree in architecture or preservation; licensure preferred.
• 5–10+ years in project management and delivery.
• Experience with education-sector or renovation/preservation projects is a plus.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams in developing and delivering high‑quality design solutions.
• Collaborate closely with principals, designers, and technical staff.
• Manage project scope, schedule, fee, and team assignments.
• Serve as primary client contact and coordinate with consultants.
• Oversee project documentation and quality control across phases.
• Conduct site visits, building assessments, and existing‑conditions documentation.
• Support project planning using benchmarks, cost data, and code research.
• Facilitate client meetings and represent the firm professionally.
• Travel as required for site work and client engagement.
