Job summary

Penmac Staffing is seeking an Education Coordinator to join our staffing team in Springfield, MO. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM for a ten-month contract August–May, renewed each year. Pay will depend on experience.

You’ll coordinate substitutes, manage rosters, liaise with campus staff, and recruit and screen applicants to provide quality staffing services. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; Associate degree or higher preferred.
• Previous office or school experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email and Internet.
• Ability to work early morning and evening hours.
• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain confidentiality.
• Warm, friendly, outgoing personality with a strong work ethic.
• Self-starter capable of working independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates daily substitutes assignments and notices school personnel of absences.
• Maintains substitute database and roster; updates campus liaisons on changes.
• Approves payroll hours weekly and tracks daily sub assignments.
• Attends orientation, distributes substitute contact documents.
• Recruit, screen and interview applicants; evaluate job fit for placements.
• Develop relationships with school personnel and provide staffing services.
• Review job details with clients and ensure understanding of requirements.
• Ensure orders are filled to school satisfaction and provide excellent client service.
