Job summary

Youth Health Associates (YHA) is seeking an Education Coordinator to support the educational development of male youths aged 12-18 in a residential treatment setting. You will track progress toward individualized education goals and coordinate with the care team.

The role is full-time, Monday–Friday 7am–3pm, with benefits including medical, dental, Vision, Life and AD&D, and annual PTO; starting pay around $20+ per hour.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, or Social Work preferred.
• Special Education skills and endorsement preferred, but not required.
• Must be highly motivated and a self-starter with strong organizational skills.
• Preferred experience in the mental health field.
• Program specific training is provided and required.

Responsibilities

• Track client progress regarding individualized education goals throughout the year.
• Communicate client progress with team members and be a proactive problem solver.
• Assist clients with daily educational needs and monitor their educational advancement.
• Attend multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss academic progress of students.
• Order and track educational supplies.
• Form positive rapport with students and coworkers.

Youth Health Associates (YHA) is a licensed residential treatment center for young males between the ages 12 to 18 who have experienced mental and behavioral difficulties. Our students do well in structured environments where they receive quality one-on-one support from youth mentors, therapists, and teachers. YHA is looking for an Education Coordinator to assist our clients with their educational development in a residential treatment setting.
