Job summary

Youth Health Associates Inc. provides a structured residential program for adolescent males with mental and behavioral health needs. We are seeking a Registered Nurse to ensure medical oversight and direct care within a team-based treatment model.

The RN will administer psychotropic medications, monitor residents’ health, and collaborate with therapists, teachers, and families to promote safe, effective stabilization and ongoing recovery in a crisis-aware environment.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in Texas.
• BSN preferred; ADN accepted with relevant experience.
• Minimum of 2 years’ nursing experience, preferably in mental/behavioral health or residential settings.
• Experience with psychotropic medication administration and monitoring.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond quickly in crisis situations.

Youth Health Associates (YHA) is a licensed residential treatment center serving adolescent males ages 12-18 who have experienced mental and behavioral challenges. The RN provides medical oversight and ensures safe, effective administration of psychotropic and other prescribed medications to the youth and young adults in accordance with established treatment models and regulatory requirements.
