Job summary

Froedtert Health in Wisconsin is seeking an Access Services Education Specialist to support orientation, staff development, and continuing education for ASR staff. The role focuses on assessing competencies and implementing training to ensure high-quality patient care and customer service.

The position involves designing programs, evaluating outcomes, and stepping into ASR tasks when onboarding or educational duties are covered. A background in adult learning theory is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of lead, preceptor, trainer or teaching experience.
• 1-2 years of hospital operator or answering service representative experience.
• Professional knowledge of educational theories and adult learning principles preferred.

Shift Details: Weekdays 1000-1830. No weekends. 2 holidays per year.

Job Summary

Participates in the needs assessment, design, implementation and evaluation of orientation, staff development and continuing education relevant to Access Services Representative staff. Assesses competency of staff and implements relevant training on an as needed basis. Implements ongoing education to ensure excellence in patient care and customer service. Identifies process improvements, maintains quality and process improvement practices and conducts audits. Other duties as assigned, including working in the Access Service Rep (ASR) role when not involved in onboarding/ educational activities.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION

A minimum of 1-2 years of lead, preceptor, trainer or teaching experience. 1-2 years of hospital operator or answering service representative experience. Professional knowledge of educational theories and principles for adult learning preferred.

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION

High School diploma or equivalent is required. Associates degree or higher in education, health sciences, or a related field is preferred.
