Job summary

STV is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager / Project Development Manager to lead complex education construction programs, from pre‑construction through closeout, ensuring safe, compliant delivery with minimal disruption to academic operations.

You will oversee planning, budgeting, procurement, schedules, and change management, coordinating with architects, engineers, campus planners, and school boards to align design with regulatory requirements and educational needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years in education/institutional construction leadership.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6/MS Project, Procore, and BIM workflows.
• Experience with CM-at-Risk and Design-Build delivery methods.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead project development, pre‑construction planning, and budgeting.
• Manage procurement, RFPs, and contract negotiations.
• Oversee schedule, cost control, and risk management.
• Direct construction execution, QA/QC, and safety compliance.
• Coordinate stakeholders across facilities, academics, and operations.
• Ensure timely closeout, turnover, and warranty tracking.
• Define scope and phasing strategies for classrooms, labs, and facilities.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and campus planners to align design with needs.
• Execute RFPs and negotiate CM-at-Risk or Design-Build methods.
• Maintain integrated schedules and budgets for multi‑phase programs.
