Job summary

University of Washington seeks an Education & Compliance Manager to advance a university-wide financial education program and ensure governance across campus units. You will collaborate with UCO, Treasury, and Internal Audit to align training with Workday and policy requirements, driving transparency and accountability.

The role focuses on developing foundational courses for Workday access, overseeing compliance programs, and leading a team to deliver high‑quality financial literacy materials

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field plus 5 years in financial operations with training/design responsibilities.
• Three years leading cross‑functional initiatives in complex environments.
• Experience designing and delivering training for major ERP implementations (Workday, Oracle, SAP).
• Ability to translate complex financial policies into actionable guidance.

Responsibilities

• Direct the development of training content and resources for campus-wide financial literacy and accountability.
• Design and implement a university-wide financial training strategy aligned with policies and Workday functionality.
• Communicate guidance on accounting and compliance policies to diverse audiences.
• Collaborate with Internal Audit to design processes for tracking findings and remediation.
• Oversee overhead assessment framework and exemption review processes.
• Lead deficit monitoring improvements and performance metrics for training effectiveness.
