Northlight Theatre in Evanston is hiring an Education & Community Programs Coordinator to support our Education & Community Engagement programs through leadership, relationship building, and administrative coordination. The role centers on managing program portfolios, leading youth initiatives, and helping guide strategic growth under department and organizational leadership.

Now Hiring: Northlight Theatre is now hiring for Education & Community Programs Coordinator. Working under the supervision of the Education & Community Programs Manager, The Education & Community Programs Coordinator supports Northlight's Education & Community Engagement programs through a blend of leadership, relationship building, and administrative coordination. This role centers on managing program portfolios, leading youth initiatives, and supporting strategic growth as guided by department and organization leadership. The Education & Community Programs Coordinator will be an active member of the Northlight Teaching Artist cohort and will be expected to teach one to two residencies per semester scheduled in addition to these hours & paid at Northlight's standard Teaching Artist rate.

Qualifications: Passion for arts education and community engagement, strong communication and organizational skills, & ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate across teams. experience working as a teaching artist with both youth and adults. Must have experience developing curriculum for arts education.
Job Location: This position is onsite at 820 Church Street in Evanston.
Schedule & Compensation: This position will work onsite at Northlight Theatre Admin Offices from Tuesday Friday from 10am-3pm for a total of 20 hours per week. Pay rate: $24/hr. Some remote work may be possible on a case-by-case basis with advance approval from Supervisor.
