Job summary

Child Development Schools in Irving, TX seeks an Education Coordinator to coach educators across centers. You will observe classrooms, provide targeted feedback, and collaborate with teachers to strengthen practice and improve outcomes for children and families.

You will lead observations, use assessment tools (ITERS-R, ITERS-3, ECERS-R, ECERS-3, SACERS), mentor new staff, and support staff retention while continuing to teach as Lead Teacher daily.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of experience in early childhood education.
• High school diploma or GED required; degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teachers to plan, implement, and improve the HighReach Learning curriculum across all age groups.
• Conduct formal and informal classroom observations, providing specific feedback to teachers and administration.
• Evaluate classroom environments using ITERS-R, ITERS-3, ECERS-R, ECERS-3, and SACERS with actionable recommendations.
• Provide constructive, ongoing coaching and support to teachers.
• Support positive staff-child interactions and a nurturing, inclusive environment.
• Assist with new employee training and mentorship.
• Support teacher and family retention with tools and confidence.
• Attend monthly Education Coordinator calls to stay aligned with company goals.
• Foster a welcoming environment for children, families, and teachers; continue as Lead Teacher daily.
