University of the Incarnate Word invites applications for a full-time Teacher Certification Officer/Assessment Coordinator to manage the educator certification program within the Dreeben School of Education. This role reports to the Director of Teacher Education and works with the Dean to ensure program compliance and excellence.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required with five years of related teaching or administrative experience.
• Strong MS Office skills and ability to learn internal systems.
• Experience with state certification processes and data reporting.

Responsibilities

• Review candidates for certification per TEA and UIW guidelines.
• Assist candidates with certification systems (TEAL, Fastpass, ETS).
• Coordinate program assessment and test analyses; report results.
• Maintain SBEC data, GPA spreadsheets, and required reports.
