Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Education or closely related field is required.
• One year of experience as a principal or assistant principal in a school system is required.
• Texas Principal Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Observe, assess, and evaluate assigned clinical teachers.
• Support the application of classroom learning to professional settings.
• Communicate expectations during clinical placement for both the Clinical Teacher and the Cooperating Teacher.
• Submit assessments and documentation by due dates.
• Serve as liaison between placement site and the Teacher Education Department.
• Adhere to UIW policies and maintain timely records and feedback.
• Travel within Bexar County to respective schools as needed.
• Engage respectfully with faculty, staff, students and diverse communities.
