Job summary

A bachelor’s degree is required; a master’s is preferred. Three years of records and data experience in education is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Three years of experience with records and data, preferably in an educational environment.
• Strong confidentiality and knowledge of FERPA.
• Ability to learn new software programs and databases in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Attends regular TEA, SBEC, and SBOE meetings and trainings and participates in TEA-sponsored webinars and meetings.
• Oversees program compliance and communicates changes in state policies.
• Manages TEA reporting and accreditation reviews and verification of admission requirements for certification.
• Updates and maintains accurate certification information and transfer documents.
• Represents SHSU at conferences, meetings, and with state partners.
