Job summary

IRIS: Integrated Refugee & Immigrant Services is hiring an Education and Career Navigator to support participants in the IRIS Advancement Pathways program. You will guide education, training, and employment pathways, perform service planning, and coordinate referrals and follow-up to help clients move toward self-sufficiency.

You will work closely with program managers, ESOL instructors, and partner providers to remove barriers and track progress, while delivering workshops and ensuring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred.
• 2–3 years experience in case management, adult education, or workforce development preferred.
• Experience with refugees/imms of diverse backgrounds preferred.
• Familiarity with ESOL, credential evaluation, or community college pathways preferred.
• Ability to facilitate workshops or trainings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and follow Self-Sufficiency Plans with participants.
• Identify short- and long-term education, training, and employment goals.
• Maintain regular participant contact to monitor progress and barriers.
• Coordinate with IRIS team to tailor education and employment services.
• Facilitate education, training, and job-readiness workshops.
• Document services, referrals, and outcomes in required systems.
• Engage community partners to support participant success.
