Job summary

Southwest Local Schools in Cincinnati is seeking a Behavior Technician to directly implement behavior interventions and support classroom staff while collecting data to monitor student progress. You will work at Miami Whitewater Elementary under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

The position reports to the Assistant Director of Pupil Services and requires a High School diploma, valid Ohio certificate/license, and completion of a 40-hour online RBT course.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Valid Ohio Department of Education certificate/license.
• Successful completion of a 40 hour online RBT course.

Responsibilities

• Implements behavior intervention plans under supervision.
• Assists teachers and parents to implement lesson plans and daily living/behavior skills.
• Monitors safety and behavior during school activities and transportation.
• Maintains student records and contributes to data collection for progress monitoring.
