Job summary

Greeley-Evans School District 6 seeks a Preschool Assistant for James Madison STEAM Academy in Colorado. You will supervise students, reinforce instructional material, and support classroom teachers with assessments and clerical tasks.

The ideal candidate has an AA degree or 48 college hours (Work Keys accepted) and comfort with assistive technology. Benefits include medical, dental and 401(k) plans; review dates are set for September 4, 2026.

Qualifications

• AA degree or 48 semester hours of approved college credit.
• Work Keys passing scores accepted.
• Experience in related field preferred.
• Basic data entry and office procedures knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist with individual students or small groups to reinforce instructional material.
• Instruct small groups in assigned content areas.
• Administer assessments and tests per district guidelines.
• Perform clerical duties including data entry and filing.
• Use technology tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, interactive boards, and document cameras.
• Monitor students before, during and after school; support PBIS.
• Assist with lesson plans and adapt to student needs.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs as required.
