The role emphasizes SEO-first execution, on-page optimization, content refreshes, and data-backed briefs to improve rankings, traffic, and engagement across a multi-location subdomain network. This virtual position requires at least three years of hands-on SEO experience, strong keyword research, and proficiency with tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, GSC, GA, and BrightEdge.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of hands-on SEO experience.
• Strong keyword research and search intent mapping.
• Proficiency with SEMrush, Ahrefs, GSC, and GA.
• Demonstrated ranking and traffic improvements with examples.
• Knowledge of on-page technical elements including indexation, canonicals, internal linking, and structured data.
• Excellent written communication and ability to create SEO-friendly content.

Responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research and search intent analysis.
• Perform on-page optimization of title tags, meta descriptions, headers, and content.
• Refresh priority pages based on rankings and traffic data.
• Apply local SEO to school location pages.
• Flag technical issues for resolution.
• Create data-backed content briefs with keywords, intent, and structure.
• Review writers' content before publication.
• Provide monthly performance updates on rankings, traffic and engagement.
• Communicate clearly and timely with stakeholders.
• Utilize SEO tools and platforms to execute tasks.
