Advantage Technical is hiring an eDrive Product Engineer in Dearborn, MI, on a hybrid schedule (in-office Monday-Thursday). The role focuses on developing inverter manufacturing and assembly processes and supporting production readiness for mass manufacturing of advanced EV components.

The candidate will document engineering specs, lead cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvement using DOE, FMEA, and GD&T. CAD tools proficiency preferred (CATIA/NX/Creo/SolidWorks).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years electrical module assembly or manufacturing engineering experience.
• Knowledge of DFM principles and manufacturing documentation.
• Experience with product development, validation, and industrialization processes.
• Ability to develop engineering specifications and manufacturing docs.
• Strong communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document inverter manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Create and maintain engineering specifications for assembly operations.
• Support production readiness and mass manufacturing implementation.
• Design and improve manufacturing tools, fixtures, and equipment.
• Conduct DOE and process validation activities.
• Manage engineering deliverables, timing, costs, and issue tracking.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and program teams.
• Maintain component BOMs and support engineering change management.
• Drive root cause analysis, FMEA, GD&T, SPC, and continuous improvement initiatives.
