PROVISION MANPOWER RESOURCES LLC in Houston, TX is seeking an EDM Machine Operator / EDM Technician to join our precision machining team. You will set up and operate wire EDM and sinker EDM equipment, interpret CAD/CAM files and blueprints, and program CNC EDM machines to achieve tight tolerances.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years EDM experience, strong measurement skills, and the ability to work both independently and in a team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience operating wire EDM and/or sinker EDM machines
• Proficiency in CNC programming and EDM machine setup and operation
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings
• Experience with precision measurement tools and quality inspection processes
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Detail‑oriented with a commitment to producing high‑quality, tight‑tolerance work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a production environment

Responsabilités

• Set up, operate, and monitor Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) equipment including wire EDM and sinker EDM machines
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to program and execute machining operations
• Program CNC EDM machines and make adjustments to optimize cutting parameters, speed, and accuracy
• Perform routine machine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime
• Measure and inspect finished parts using precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and CMM equipment
• Maintain accurate production logs, quality records, and documentation in compliance with shop standards
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to ensure parts meet tight tolerances and specifications
