Woodward Inc. in Santa Clarita, CA is seeking experienced machinists for an EDM-focused contract role through December 2027. You will set up and operate wire or sinker EDM machines to produce precision components, ensuring tight tolerances and adherence to specifications.

Aerospace, automotive, medical device or tool and die backgrounds are a plus, with competitive hourly pay and regular overtime. You’ll work second or third shifts with differential pay and strive for consistent quality through

Qualificações

3+ years of relevant machining experience, including setup of EDM equipment.
Experience operating wire EDM or sinker EDM machines.
Ability to work to engineering specifications and tight tolerances.
Experience in aerospace, automotive, medical device manufacturing or tool&die is a plus.

Responsabilidades

Set up and operate wire EDM or sinker EDM equipment to machine precision components.
Use EDM to remove material from conductive metals and achieve precise geometries.
Work to engineering specs and maintain tight tolerances.
Monitor machining operations and adjust to meet required dimensions and finishes.
Inspect finished components to ensure they meet quality standards.
