Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in journalism, English, communications, history, or another writing‑intensive field.
• Minimum of five years of professional journalism/editorial experience.
• Strong reporting, interviewing, research, writing, editing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to write features, profiles, news stories, and digital content for diverse audiences.
• Familiarity with AP style, SEO, social media, and digital publishing.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Editorial reporting, interviewing, researching, writing, and revising stories for Howard Magazine, The Dig, newsletters, and other platforms.
• Produce accurate and engaging content for print, web, email, social media, and multimedia audiences.
• Lead writer on research stories, translating complex information into compelling narratives.
• Meet editorial calendars, production schedules, and deadlines.
• Identify timely story ideas based on university priorities and events.
• Translate academic and institutional information into clear narratives.
• Develop and maintain relationships with faculty, staff, students, alumni, and partners.
