Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in journalism or related field.
• 5+ years of professional journalism experience.
• Strong reporting, interviewing, research, writing, and editing skills.
• Proven ability to write features, profiles, and digital content for diverse audiences.
• Familiarity with AP style, SEO, social media, and digital publishing.

Responsabilidades

• Research, interview, write, and revise news stories, profiles, features, and other editorial content for Howard Magazine, The Dig, newsletters, and other university platforms.
• Produce accurate and engaging content for print, web, email, social media, and multimedia audiences.
• Translate complex academic, research, and institutional information into clear and compelling narratives.
• Develop and maintain relationships with faculty, staff, students, alumni, administrators, and other Howard community members.
• Assist with copyediting, proofreading, fact-checking, and production planning for university publications.
