The Atlantic Monthly Group LLC invites applications for an ambitious talent booker to join our newsroom. The role supports booking interviews and guest appearances across our print magazine, website, Book Club, podcasts, video, newsletters, and audience platforms.

Strong coordination, diplomacy, research, and communication skills are essential, with booking experience advantageous. This is a Guild position based in New York or Los Angeles.

Qualifications

• Experience identifying and booking high-profile interview subjects.
• Ability to coordinate logistics for virtual and on-site appearances.
• Experience negotiating contracts and releases with the legal team when appropriate.
• Strong research and editorial standards understanding.

Responsabilités

• Serve as a point of contact for editors, producers, and newsroom leaders to book high-profile interview subjects and guest talent.
• Negotiate contracts and releases in coordination with the legal team where appropriate.
• Facilitate logistics for virtual and on-site appearances, coordinating with editors, producers, and building management teams.
• Build a rolodex of existing and potential contacts.
• Create and maintain tracking systems for upcoming interviews for internal awareness and cross-team coordination.
• Assist with other pre- or post-production logistics as needed.
