Job summary

Experimental Aircraft Association Inc (EAA) is seeking a Production Coordinator to join the Publications team in Oshkosh, WI. You will assemble and produce EAA’s monthly member magazine, Sport Aviation, and its e-publications for over 200,000 members, handling research, editing, proofing, and project timelines.

The role includes writing features, managing schedules and vendors, and ensuring voice and style across all EAA content.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism or related subject preferred but a combination of education and experience will be considered.
• 2+ years print publishing, writing and editing experience.
• Demonstrated passion for EAA’s mission.
• Broad knowledge of aircraft and subjects represented at EAA’s annual fly-in (AirVenture Oshkosh).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Executes the editorial plan to support the organization’s vision, brand, and messaging.
• Monitor member interests and prepare monthly survey results for the Managing Editor.
• Oversee production of EAA Sport Aviation and ePublications on schedule and ensure quality and accuracy.
• Edit content for accuracy, style, and consistency across all EAA publications.
• Coordinate resource use and distribution of content across channels with the editorial team.
• Prepare and manage content schedules, processes, tasks, and vendor relationships.
• Write articles and features for the magazine and electronic publications as needed.
• Attend industry events as assigned and support division publications.
