Job summary

Jobtailor in Washington, DC seeks an experienced news production booker and control room coordinator to book Washington movers, coordinate pre-interviews, and manage guest logistics.

You will develop relationships with policymakers, journalists and witnesses, react in breaking news, and pitch new voices while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of news production experience
• Strong knowledge of politics and current events
• Ability to multi-task and execute quickly
• Four-year college degree or equivalent in proven industry experience
• Awareness of guests/panelists political leanings
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple guests and to develop long-term relationships
