Job summary

HarperCollins Publishers invites applications for an Editorial Intern to assist in the publishing pipeline across Zonderkidz, DaySpring Kids, and Blink teams. You will help with research, editing, and proofreading, and contribute to title information forms for internal reference.

The role requires 28 hours per week (Mon–Thu) and is open to rising seniors, recent grads, and early-career candidates. Must be authorized to work in the United States; resume and cover letter required.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work full-time in 2027 or 2028.
• Available to work 28 hours per week, Monday through Thursday.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Resume and cover letter required; applications without a cover letter will not be considered.
• Ideal candidates are currently enrolled in or have recently graduated from undergraduate or master’s programs.
• Competent in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Teams.
• Strong knowledge of English language and grammar.

Responsibilities

• Familiarize with Zonderkidz, DaySpring Kids, and Blink production processes.
• Assist with book-related research and editing book content.
• Prepare title information forms for internal reference; input on prospective manuscripts.
• Proofread typeset content and proofreading tasks.
• Attend team meetings, editorial boards, and production meetings.
• Provide input on prospective manuscripts and projects.
