HarperCollins Publishers in New York, NY invites interns to participate across editorial administration for the Harper Influence group. You will learn author relations, manuscript routing and evaluation, and help with seasonal launch preparation.
Based in our NYC office, this internship offers hands-on exposure to internationally prominent titles in fiction and select nonfiction, with tasks spanning copy writing, jacket design, and cross‑department collaboration.
In this role, you will be involved across aspects of the editorial administrative day-to-day of the Harper Influence group. You will report to a senior editor and assistant editor on the team, and will learn and be responsible for key tasks involved in author relations, manuscript routing and evaluation, seasonal book launch preparation, fact sheet and copy writing, jacket design, and other areas.
This is a great opportunity to do hands‑on work with the editors responsible for internationally prominent titles in fiction and select nonfiction.
