Job summary

AMJ is recruiting an Editorial Coordinator to manage and commission content across our journal portfolio, offering a path for growth in a fast-paced environment. You will oversee end-to-end journal coordination, peer review, and content refinement, working closely with internal teams and external contributors.

Based onsite at our Hallandale Beach office, you will engage with key opinion leaders and coordinate webinars and podcasts while maintaining high editorial standards in medical publishing.

Qualifications

• Biomedical Science or Life Science degree required.
• Excellent writing and English language skills are essential.
• Strong IT skills with MS Excel and Word.
• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enthusiastic and dedicated team player.
• Ability to learn quickly and manage a high-volume workload with tight deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to take instruction.
• Adheres to company quality standards.
• Passionate about medical publishing.

Responsibilities

• Own and coordinate end-to-end journal pipelines, ensuring content is delivered, reviewed, and published on schedule.
• Drive content commissioning by engaging with key opinion leaders to identify and secure high-quality contributions.
• Lead development and editorial refinement of journal and newsletter content, including congress reports and news pieces.
• Coordinate and manage the peer review process, acting as liaison between authors, reviewers, and Editorial Board members.
• Oversee congress coverage, coordinating attendance and ensuring timely, high-quality reporting.
• Plan and deliver webinars and podcasts end-to-end, managing scheduling and logistics.
• Collaborate with leaders in the pharma industry.
• Serve as a central liaison between Editorial, Design, and Client Services teams.
