Reporting to the Editor-in-Chief, the main responsibilities include editing and proofreading manuscripts, ensuring consistency with the university's guidelines and the Chicago Manual of Style, and supporting online and print publication.

Hosted by ESIA, The Washington Quarterly (TWQ) is a global security policy journal that provides diverse perspectives on strategic changes, trends, and relations around the world along with their public policy implications.
TWQ is seeking an Editorial Associate to assist with the editing and publication process for the journal. Reporting to the Editor-in-Chief, the main responsibilities include the following:
Performs other related duties as assigned. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position. This is a part-time, hybrid position with some days in-person and some days remote.
Qualified candidates will hold a high school diploma/GED plus 3 years of relevant professional experience, or, a Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant area of study. Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position. Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
