Qualifications

• 7+ years of journalism/reporting with feature writing, feature assigning, and feature editing experience
• Ability to identify trends and turn them into sharp, compelling story angles
• Proven ability to develop sources and grow beats
• Experience working in fast-paced digital media environments
• Genuine interest in education, leadership, and AI topics

Responsibilities

• Pitch, write, and edit big-swing features that spark conversation
• Shape editorial direction and build relationships with influential voices
• Cover leadership, education, and AI topics across classroom tech, learning science, and motivation
• Collaborate with editorial, social, video, and community teams to distribute stories
• Develop podcasts, video, newsletters, or other multimedia formats
