Job summary

Lineal, a leading eDiscovery and legal technology services firm, seeks an operations leader to own the end-to-end eDiscovery process, from data processing through review and production, and to drive standardized workflows across global delivery.

You will influence across functions without direct reporting, design scalable processes, and implement QA/QC frameworks to improve efficiency, predictability and quality, leveraging Nuix and RelativityOne.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Own the end-to-end eDiscovery operational process, establishing consistent workflows, standards and controls across the full lifecycle from data processing through review and production.
• Influence across functions without relying on direct reporting authority, driving adoption of processes and standards across Project Management, Review, Forensics, Technical Operations and other stakeholder teams.
• Design processes for scale, identifying where workflows, technology and operating practices need to evolve to support increasing matter volumes, complexity and global delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement and optimisation, using operational data, root-cause analysis and lessons learned to identify bottlenecks, eliminate unnecessary steps and improve efficiency, predictability and quality.
• Own process documentation and governance, ensuring SOPs, workflows, controls, decision points and escalation paths are clearly documented, maintained and consistently followed.
• Establish and monitor quality standards, developing QA/QC frameworks, operational metrics and controls that reduce errors and ensure consistent delivery across teams and matters.
• Bring strong technical eDiscovery expertise, with hands‑on knowledge of platforms such as Nuix and RelativityOne (R1) and a strong understanding of processing, data movement, review workflows, productions and associated technical dependencies.
• Translate technical capability into operational process, understanding not simply how eDiscovery technology works, but how it can be used to automate, standardise and improve workflows at scale.
• Lead operational change, taking new or improved processes from design through stakeholder alignment, implementation, adoption and measurement rather than simply making recommendations.
• Be highly process- and detail-oriented while maintaining a strategic view, capable of identifying individual process failures while also recognising systemic issues and designing solutions that improve the broader eDiscovery operating model.
