Bright Labs, part of Ankura, seeks an eDiscovery Director to lead client engagements and manage projects across identification, collection, processing, review and production of electronic data for litigation or regulatory matters.

As the day-to-day leader, you will coordinate cross-functional teams, mentor staff, manage budgets and timelines, and drive technology-enabled strategies, including Relativity, for high-stakes investigations. Authorization to work in the United States is required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in MIS, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Law, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Technology, or similar degree.
• Extensive hands-on Relativity experience; RCA or Relativity certifications preferred.
• 5+ years of prior experience as a consultant overseeing electronic discovery or litigation support.
• Advanced decision making and problem-solving skills.
• Team player who is comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Ability to interact confidently with senior management and lawyers/partners.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work extended hours as needed (evenings and weekends).
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.

• Serve as the client contact and day-to-day leader on eDiscovery projects.
• Manage identification, collection, processing, review and production tasks.
• Coordinate forensic collections and pre-processing with teams.
• Develop data reduction and culling strategies for engagements.
• Mentor junior staff and support business development.
• Provide status updates and documentation throughout engagements.
