TruLegal (formerly TRU Staffing) is seeking a U.S. eDiscovery Director to act as a senior subject matter expert and trusted advisor to partners, attorneys, clients, and innovation teams.
The role emphasizes strengthening the firm’s eDiscovery profile, client and partner relationships, business development, and thought leadership. The ideal candidate brings extensive eDiscovery experience, Relativity Master certification, RelativityOne/aiR expertise, strong technical knowledge, and credibility
Qualifications
- Extensive eDiscovery experience in a professional services setting.
- Relativity Master designation required and deep Relativity/aiR expertise.
- Strong client relationship management and ability to engage senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a senior SME across the firm’s eDiscovery function.
- Provide guidance on eDiscovery tech, workflows, data, and AI capabilities.
- Design defensible, efficient workflows for litigation and investigations.
- Advise on data collection scope and third-party engagement when needed.
- Evaluate and implement new eDiscovery and legal technologies.
- Develop educational programs and marketing materials on eDiscovery.
- Collaborate with global eDiscovery colleagues, Innovation teams, and external providers.
- Contribute to thought leadership and defensive best practices.
- Travel to other offices as required.
