Job summary

CULTA in Cambridge, MD seeks an Edibles Technician to support the preparation, production, and inventory management of cannabis edibles at the Processing Facility. You will follow Maryland laws, SOPs, GMP, and quality control standards while maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment and contributing to production schedules.

Responsibilities include equipment operation, inventory management, data entry, and cooperation with the Edibles Supervisor to ensure timely distribution of products.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required, Culinary Arts or related discipline preferred.
• 2 years of experience in related position with an emphasis in an operations production/manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to work onsite.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Experience with standard electronic data management.
• Good documentation and communication skills.
• Effective time-management and ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.
• Must be able to complete Food Handler Essentials Course, obtain Food Handlers Card and keep current during employment.
• Complete New Business and Advanced Metrc Training.
• Microsoft 365 experience.
• Thoroughness and attention to detail.
• A focus on process and product safety.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate kitchen instruments per SOPs.
• Maintain routine equipment cleaning and maintenance.
• Measure ingredients with precision using weighing equipment.
• Combine ingredients with a stand mixer as needed.
• Maintain inventory of raw non-cannabis materials.
• Communicate order needs to Edibles Supervisor.
• Assist with month-end counts and weekly inventory.
• Ensure sanitary, timely production for distribution.
• Follow safety protocols and CULTA policies.
• Document activities in notebooks and logs.
• Assist in sample collection for testing and quality assurance.
