Job summary

Verano Holdings Corp. in Readington, NJ is seeking a Manager for the Edibles department to oversee operations, lead a team, and drive production goals while maintaining strict GMP/ISO compliance and regulatory alignment.

You will develop production schedules, manage inventory, and partner with HR to build a capable workforce, ensuring high-quality, safe cannabis edibles production in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of experience in a high-volume food production facility or commercial cannabis kitchen.
• 2+ years of management/supervisory experience in a regulated field with health and safety policies.
• Strategic vision with strong technical and analytical skills, sound judgment, initiative, and ability to develop others.
• Proficient in ERP and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operational management and business activities of the edibles department in their assigned facility.
• Motivate Edibles team by providing encouragement, servant leadership, and constructive feedback.
• Drive the edibles department to achieve and surpass goals, maximizing output and profitability.
• Direct and implement SOPs, policies, objectives to advance the department and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop and execute the edibles production schedule.
• Assist facility leadership in developing and executing the facility production schedule.
• Maintain edibles inventory levels based on sales forecast and production schedules.
• Ensure quality, safety, GMPs and ISO standards are followed.
• Monitor equipment performance in collaboration with the maintenance team.
• Provide coaching and development opportunities to Assistant Managers and Leads.
• Operate as an inclusive leader and engage all associates to support strategy and retention.
• Support inventory management of finished products and record batch numbers.
• Ensure QC/QA protocols are followed and maintained.
• Follow and enforce all rules and regulations for food production, health and safety, and state/municipality requirements.
• Partner with Human Resources to manage the department workforce.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
