XiFin is seeking a Support Specialist EDI in Dallas, TX to coordinate with healthcare payers, manage claims submissions, and interpret payer reports. You will uphold accuracy and compliance across EDI operations while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 3 years of EDI experience in healthcare, with strong communication and problem-solving skills to mentor junior staff and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, information technology, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in EDI support or a similar role within the healthcare industry.
• In-depth knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid policies and EDI standards.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration across teams.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel) and EDI-related software.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the submission of EDI files to healthcare payers and manage the receipt and interpretation of payer reports.
• Update and maintain proprietary systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
• Analyze and resolve claim issues, including batch and claim rejects, providing guidance to junior team members.
• Monitor payer communications and ensure timely responses to inquiries and issues.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of EDI processes and updates.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to implement process improvements and enhance system functionality.
• Assist with training and mentoring entry-level staff and new hires.
