Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, information technology, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in EDI support or a similar role within the healthcare industry.
• In-depth knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid policies and EDI standards.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities for complex issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee submission of EDI files to healthcare payers and interpretation of payer reports.
• Update and maintain proprietary systems ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Analyze and resolve claim issues, including batch and claim rejects; guide junior staff.
• Monitor payer communications and respond to inquiries and issues promptly.
• Maintain documentation of EDI processes and updates.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to implement process improvements.
• Assist with training and mentoring entry-level staff and new hires.
