NeighborHealth Corporation seeks a Payment Poster/EDI Specialist to ensure accurate posting of payments and rejections from insurers, patients, and third parties to patient accounts. You will research account information, adjust as needed, and collaborate with departments to ensure proper posting and cash balancing.

The role requires 2–3 years in medical billing, a high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication, and proficiency in database software.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in medical billing/insurance office.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of CPT-4 and ICD-9/10 coding is helpful.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and timely posting of high volume payments and adjustments to patient accounts
• Reconcile batch entries and deposits
• Great math, data entry, and computer skills required
• Previous experience with medical billing field is helpful
